Add a new brewery to your list, San Diego. Local homebrewer plans a public space for his craft beer in North County.
Rawley Macias is ready to launch Rouleur Brewing Company to the masses come spring. After over a decade of perfecting his own home brews, Macias has decided it’s time to share his love for craft beer with others.
Rouleur Brewing Company is slated for a March 2017 opening in Carlsbad and the 2,000 square-foot tasting room will include ten taps, six of which will pour Rouleur’s staples, which include: The Domestique (blonde ale), The Sprinteur (red ale), The Puncheur (pale ale), The Grimpeur (dark ale), The Clydesdale (IPA), and the Soloist (golden strong ale). The remaining four taps will be for seasonal offerings.

About That Name
Rouleur won’t only pay homage to the those who are fans of craft beer, but also gives a nod to his devotion to cycling. A rouleur doesn’t specialize in only one area of cycling, but is a person who can “do it all” and aren’t afraid to think outside of the box, much like the vision Macias has for his brewery.
“We’re rule benders,” said Macias. “Our beer doesn’t fit the traditional style guidelines and it’s something we’re very proud of. We can’t wait to share it with San Diego.”
Rouleur Brewing Company opens at 5840 El Camino Real, Suite 101 Carlsbad, CA 92008, in H.G. Fenton’s brand new Brewery Igniter. Flagship and specialty beers will be available in the tasting room and at local bars and restaurants this year.
Brew lovers can expect to-go growlers and crowlers immediately, as well as 750ml bottles, to be available for purchase in late 2017.
