1. Take Advantage Of The Player’s Club

Just about every casino in Las Vegas participates in some sort of loyalty club, where you can earn points based on the money you spend at their establishment. What many folks don’t realize is that you can not only earn points based on your gambling, but you can also earn points for shopping, spa trips and shows.

A common myth is that the casino wants you to use a player’s card so they can track you for tax purposes. It is so they can track you — but it’s for marketing purposes — if they need your information for tax reasons, they’ll get it before you get the money.

Simply head up to the player’s club desk with your driver’s license. They’ll help you open up your account and give you a card. Use that card everywhere you go, no matter how little you feel like you’re spending. It can earn you comps during your trip, it can earn you cash back towards your hotel charges on the way out of town, and it can earn you future promotional deals where you can receive free gaming, dining, shows and nights at the hotel.
