Three Miami pool parties you must visit in the summer, 2023 edition

Summer plus pools, sprinkle in a little Miami, and you have the perfect recipe for an epic pool party. But in a major city like Miami, you need to know which locations to hit because there are so many to choose from. Here are the three pool party venues that should be at the top of your list for 2023 if you’re looking to have a great experience.

Hyde Beach at SLS

If you’re looking for a blowout party location, Hyde Beach at SLS is your place. This is a premiere location in the city and many consider it the best pool party in the city with events on Fridays and Saturdays, with also some Sundays heading into a holiday. Food, drinks, and hookah are all on the menu. Entry can be a bit difficult for men getting into the club, and it is best to go the route of securing a table to get in.

The dress code typically calls for beach wear, but that doesn’t strictly mean a bikini. You can wear cover ups, jeans, or other items over top the swimwear. Guys typically wear casual clothing, swimwear, shorts wear, high-level athletic gear. But one thing, expect to get wet. So, if you don’t want your clothes soaked, be mindful of what you’re wearing to Hyde Beach.

Music covers everything from Top 40, EDM, Hip Hop etc. There are DJs that visit the venue playing all their top hits. The parties certainly get hyped at Hyde Beach and this is the perfect opportunity to get in a pool party while in Miami.

Nikki Beach

Nikki Beach is a great spot if you’re looking for a spot where you can have brunch with friends while enjoying an impromptu dance party next to the pool. This location is more dinner party than pool party, but it can quickly fit the bill of the latter.

Nikki Beach isn’t too expensive from its drink and food menu, all the way up to the table service that is available. The dress code is typical beach wear, but the outfits can be more casual as the pool isn’t the central focus of the party. This is a great spot if you’re looking to grab some food before heading to a bigger party or spending the day there.  

Strawberry Moon

Strawberry Moon is a great pool party if you’re looking for something a bit lower-key, but still an enjoyable time. This venue is all about aesthetics and you’ll get that right from the entry. Strawberry Moon is a restaurant located at the Good Times Hotel. The pool parties are available on Friday and Saturday, with the restaurant menu available poolside. The dress code calls for swim trunks and bikinis, typical beach wear.

The venue has two different bars and the music keeps the vibe very chilly if you’re looking for somewhere to go and keep it relaxed. The party does not get as hyped as Hyde Beach but can be a bit more turned up than that at Nikki’s Beach. Some will claim that this venue caters more toward women, but it’s still a venue that everyone looking for a pool party will enjoy.
